Last Day in the Hospital / First Night HOME!

[Forgive me for going out of order adding her memories here!] Thursday, June 4 was officially my last day in the hospital! I had just gotten my very own special room a few days prior at the Children's hospital which mom and dad appreciated. Mom and dad were trying to talk to as many people as they could to try to get me home, especially now that I was off oxygen and breathing room air all by myself! The doctors weren't sure about letting mom and dad manage the wean off my medications at home. But finally they agreed, and thankfully they did! It was so much easier for mom and dad to comfort me and keep me happy at home than in the hospital. This day felt absolutely surreal for mom and dad! They were in absolute bliss and so so happy to finally bring me home. I was mostly just sleepy!
